Often its a challenge when it comes to teaching software programming to someone who is still getting started with embedded systems or arduino world and at times this overwhelming challenge also demotivates people from finishing projects.
Using Model driven development tools that can generate code is definitely gaining more grounds. Of course most of the model based tools also comes with a cost and this means it may not be suitable for learning purposes. With this challenge we have spent sometime internally to evaluate free tools that can help in quick project development using Arduino and tried a few solutions (of course we dont want to turn this blog in a comparison sheet) and found from our perspective that using tools like Altair Embed helps not only in code generation and also simulation and this is demonstrated in the videos below.
There are 3 steps that we followed :
- Simulating the robot controller Logic as below
2. Once simulation is satisfactory run the control model on the Arduino using the Hardware In the Loop
3. And then being able to finally create the deployment to test the robot on tracks
Seeing is believing and we think with the right set of well tested hardware kits what we offer on our webstore
and of course with technical support through our experts in house it should reiterate the fact that we are just not another webstore selling components but truly believe in demonstrating value to our customers.
If you are interested of course in procuring hardware/software used in these projects please feel free to drop us an email at info@tenettech.com
Also stay tuned to our blogs as we plan to next explore the latest Nvidia GPU hardware in the following blogs !
Happy weekend.
