Altair’s Embed is a free tool for using graphical block diagram design entry for simulating as well as generating automatic C code for microcontrollers. In the past we have had blocks showcasing other tools similar to Altair Embed like National Instruments Labview, Xcos, Simulink for different experiments using Arduino .
As against all the other tools this tool from Altair is free of cost and does not have any limitation of any sort which is nice. In view of showcasing our tools that we offer on our webstore like sensors, oscilloscopes ..etc that can be used with Arduino we plan to create a series of videos which would use Altair embed to generate the microcontroller firmware.
This blog today is not geared towards comparing the different options from various vendors (the reason being we are still learning as well) !.
The video series of Altair Embed on Arduino is an ongoing effort and one could subscribe to our youtube to follow the series. We have a lot of videos that we plan to share soon to showcase our work and especially how easy it is to demonstrate various products that work with Arduino quickly.
At the end of the series we also intend to see if we can build a project to see if we are capable of getting something of decent complexity work ! Stay tuned .
