Not every application requires real-time processing, some applications can be created with Scilab script and perform data acquisition or corntrol tasks. For users which preferes scripting MicroDAQ tooblox for Scilab provides functions which allow easy access to MicroDAQ hardware and resources. User can use functions to access analog input and outputs, read/write digital IO lines, configure PWM of read Quadrature encder from Scilab script. Toolbox also features functions which allows DSP execution managment, generated DSP application can be started and managed from Scilab script. The DSP application data can be read during its execution.
