Tenet Technetronics has been focusing on Open source tools and Software Defined Radios (SDR) from times. At this juncture we are elated to be one of the partners for an Industry Event organised by Ettus Research and National Instruments.
Open Source Software Defined Radio (OSSDR) workshop will be a clean platform to get closer with SDRs. This workshop aims at providing a hands-on experience with GNU Radio and other open source softwares along with Ettus Research USRPs for understanding and developing wireless Communication systems. OSSDR workshop involves talks and demonstrations which endow the participates to begin with SDR concepts from the scratch and provide a knowledge base to explore USRP devices.
USRP has been one of the most powerful and advanced SDR platform for experimenting with wireless Communication systems and RF concepts. Thousands of Researchers and students are working with USRPs for their prototype implementation and design of next generation cellular technologies like 4G and 5G.
OSSDR showcases a wide variety of demos, which reflects the advantages of SDRs and USRPs. List of Demos is as below:
-
Real-Time Spectrum Monitoring using USRP E312 and Gqrx
-
GSM Network using USRP B210/B200 and OpenBTS
-
Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS–B)
-
Video streaming over National Instruments LTE application framework.
