New make for Android accessory designers – AOAA KIT

AOAA – Android Open Accessory Application Kit is a ultimate development kit to get started building amazing next generation as well as out of the box hardware accessories for Android operating system.

AOAA easily connects the accessory to the user’s android phones and make them talk via USB; The Accessory has to implement an USB Host, while the Android acts as a USB client.

Android accessory’s can be audio devices, robots, machines, HMI devices, testing devices etc…

The kit also accelerates to few steps in building the networking and wireless based applications using the Ethernet and the RF protocol. And it also suitable for experimenting with two wire CAN protocol.

The AOAA kit is featured with LPC1769 and LPC11C24 microcontrollers. The Android Open Accessory part is taken care by LPC1769 and the CAN node by LPC11C24. The kit also provides  prototyping area beneficial for the users to connect external peripherals.
