This is one of the recent demos that we had showcased the students at a workshop session on how easy was it to build some real world applications using the Arduino as well as controlling them using an User Interface.
In this setup we considered to use a port of QT on python called the pyQT . Nevertheless python being an interpreted language has a speed disadvantage when compared to the conventional way of writing C++ source code , the advantage was the ease with which we could back and forth make changes to build the UI with little effort.
