The Arduino makers , this week released the Arduino Mega ADK which can interface to Android !
What does this mean ? Why is this ehancement so talked about ?
One of the undeniable factors in the recent times has been the popularity of android and its wide scale adoption in the open source world . This enhancement will allow developers to harness the power of the android infrastructure as well as be able to parallely develop hardwares that can be interfaced to the phones !
One could harness the power of the android + google cloud and enable their embedded systems to utilize the same.
I was starting to talk to the developement team here at Tenet and it seems like they are planning to build a great number of projects demonstrating the power.
