Concurrency is one thing we love the FPGAs for !
One of the things that we are exploring recently is the use of FPGAs in LED display systems that we build for some of our customers.
We intially were relucatant considering the difficulty involved in making the PCBs.. but once we realized the ease with which we could kick start and complete the application, we decided to use them to drive the matrix displays !

Altera DE1 boards have been our favourite prototyping platform and unfortunately we have still not managed to sell and support them online !
