Comet is an clone of the famous Arduino Duemilanove that we developed.
With the indian customers having to wait for a long time as well as the cost factor involved in getting the hardware ! The whole enthusiasm in buying the tool to try out itself is lost in certain cases. We though that cloning the hardware is fully in the spirit of open source as well as making the boards at a high quality on par with the original boards is a “Must Have” factor.
Nevertheless the challenge was also to keep the cost as low as possible without compromising on the quality!
