As a company we have come across a lot of industrial designs as well as people designing products and often our impression has always been all of the existing designs are more or less a revamp of the existing technologies or have been a concept built upon the drawbacks of another system .
Why is this a common thing ?
One reason that this kind of situation is faced is because of the way we are thought to learn and think.
Conventional methods of learning have been proving to be not helping either the innovation nor the livelihood of students. Educationalists and academicians are slowly getting to stage where in a need for a rational way of teaching in our schools and colleges in india.
One of few such schools that we have come across as a technology company has been the Srishti school of Art, Design and Technology .
With schools like these in a longer term , wemay expect the same level of innovation as well as solutions being developed and delivered as it is the case now abroad.
One of the courses that we felt happy about is the CEMA , it is one of the few media labs in India and has an absolute focus and the right people in place to bring out of the box thinking as well as solutions in India.
